A very good show at the nice and intimate, yet rockin Redwood Bar & Grill in Downtown Los Angeles, CA on June 13, 2009. Headlined by the Dave and Deke Combo, featuring Deke Dickerson (In my opinion, he will be a legend in the rockabilly/roots genre before it’s all said and done). They put on a wild and comedic set in a way that only they can and they did not disappoint. Hey, who doesn’t want to see some rockabillies in pajamas rocking out, right?……….. right?

Also on the set was Chris “Sugarballs” Sprague and His 18 Wheelers performing their brand of truck driving songs and featuring Deke Dickerson (pre-pajamas) on the electric bass, and also performing that night but not pictured here (sorry! we arrived a bit late) was Lil’ Mo and The Unholy 4, and I am sure they rocked the joint as well.
